Jason Fairn


Jason has been involved in the martial arts for 28 years. He began
training under his father in Akai Ryu JiuJitsu at the age of 5 years old.
Through his youth he trained in several differant martial arts, attaining
black belts in Tae Kwon Do, and Budokukan Karate.
When Fairn was 17 when he was awarded a 5th degree in Akai Ryu JiuJitsu
but needed to further the street effectiveness of what he had learnt. Looking
for answers outside the confines of regular martial arts training, he stumbled
upon the now famous art of Brazilian JiuJitsu and began training after meeting
and practicing with the famed Gracie Champion Rickson Gracie.
Fairn was so impressed with this new and effective fighting system, he began
making regular trips to California improving and learning from various masters.
At the age of 20, he started to compete and test these skills the only
way he could through underground no holds barred competition,
At 21 Jason was asked to fight in the prestigious
Ultimate Fighting Championship.



At 25 years old he was awarded a black belt in Vale Tudo JiuJitsu
(Brazilian JiuJitsu with no gi) by famed Jiujitsu fighter Fabiano Iha.
Fairn was also accepted into Tito Ortiz's Team Punishment before its
recent disbandment. Over the past 13 years he has trained and fought
with the best there is in mixed martial arts including Fabiano Iha, Marco Ruas,
Pedro Rizzo, Guy Mezger, Quinton Jackson, Tito Ortiz, John Lober,
Aaron Brink, Ricco Rodriguez, Kimo Leopoldo, Joe Moreirra, Tiki,
Paul Hererra, Colin Oyama, Takada, and many more.
